The last is much the worst;
the last is a real tragedy!

一種是得不到所求,
另一種是得到所求.
最後一種最糟,
是悲劇中的悲劇.

王爾德說:

大眾是相當寬容的,
他們什麼都可以原諒,
就是不放過天才.

人在講話時若毫無掩飾,
不會說出真心話;
若戴上個面具,
人才會講出事實.

生命模仿藝術,
而非藝術模仿生命.
